Saying sorry and forgiveness with Grá
This morning in the Morning Yoga Ritual class, I heard myself saying ‘sorry’ as I cleared my throat, then I said sorry for saying sorry. This brought a smile to my face as I realized the two trails of thought. In turn, this brought me to recall the Hoponopono technique, which I was delighted about, I love being reminded of things that I love and are inspiring and healing. Furthermore, as a domino effect, I really did need to say sorry to some of my yoga students as I hadn’t pressed record to the Facebook Live Private group, Not pressing live meant that those who do the recording at a later time in the day, don’t have a new video for today. So I went to the group and made a short video to explain why there is no video today and how Sorry I was and how the word sorry was so appropriate for this morning.
I explained the Hoponopono, I’m sure some know of it, and perhaps some it’s completely new to them, which is wonderful. The words are I LOVE YOU, I’M SORRY, THANK YOU, PLEASE FORGIVE ME. I repeated this a few times in the video message. I first heard of the Ho’ponopono about 10 years ago. It’s truly amazing how much suffering has been eased and how much healing has occurred from it. It was incredible to hear of its gentle, healing, and miraculous power. You can repeat it like a mantra over and over and you will feel good within yourself, it helps stress in the moment. It sounds Hawaiian and it does come from Hawaii, it has such a beautiful lilt to it, how could we not love this beautiful prayer with such a beautiful tempo to it? I’m so glad that today the Morning Yoga Ritual brought the word sorry and the four phrases to mind and heart. Hope you love them too and experience many blessings and healing from these words too.
I love you, sorry, thank you, please forgive me.
